Key Performance Areas
COS CPP and Stock
Analyse and translate complex and customer findings into buying selling and trading departmental opportunities
Within category product reviews influence product assortments in line with customer and regional strategy
Drive integration and partnership with key stakeholders to enable strategy delivery
Enable product integration across all selling formats and complexes
Translate the buying/trading strategy into the selling strategy to ensure consistent implementation chain store image and to optimise brand equity and customer experience
Manage stock days appropriately
Ensure cost of sales targets are met
Ensure CPP targets are met
Practical execution of seasonal selling/trading strategies through model stores road shows trade workshops and training
Conduct visits to review store formats catalogues layouts and effective launch of initiatives
Deliver selling strategy through clear concise and simple communication tools
Define and Outline scope of head office initiatives and projects and input into business cases
Effectively manage projects from inception to completion and review
Deliver Capex requirements and ensure targets are in line with budgets
Actively participate in setting team objectives goals and agreed ways of working
Development and training of Food & Beverage Managers in line with succession planning
Coaching development and complex training in the field through new complex openings road shows workshops and effective communication
Requirements
3 to 5 years retail management experience essential in a sales or product environment
Matric/ Grade 12
BCom or related business qualification
Must have own car/ vehicle
Basic MS Office
SAP experience would be advantageous
Excellent Verbal and written communication
