The Regional Compliance Manager is responsible for the project management and timely delivery of compliance reporting requirements as defined by relevant local, state, and federal agencies, as well as for any key external stakeholders and outside funders. Specific emphasis will be focused on the following compliance areas: Aspire CV Local Control and Accountability Plans (LCAP), State and Federal compliance reporting --- with a focus on Federal Program Monitoring (FPM) reviews, Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) accreditation, charter renewals and annual charter authorizer oversight documents and visits, internal and external audits (i.e., Gilberts and Associates, Williams Act Audits, and etc.) and support with implementing and communicating updated legal and regulatory updates. This role is critical to the successful development, implementation and maintenance of school site specific plans, regional compliance and accountability. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge base on the current state and federal education compliance environment.
Requirements / QualificationsCOMPETENCIES & REQUIRED SKILLS: Strong knowledge of educational laws, including those governing charter schools and state/federal education programs. Exceptional project management, strategic planning, and organizational skills. Ability to interpret and apply complex regulatory documents and work with a variety of stakeholders. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present to diverse audiences. Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines. Experience in developing and delivering training and professional development materials. Proficiency in using technology tools for data tracking, document management, and compliance reporting. Minimum Educational Level: Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in education, public administration, law, or a related field. Experience: At least 3 years of experience in education compliance, reporting, or project management. Familiarity with charter school systems and state/federal education regulations, or the willingness to learn. Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic environments with cross-functional teams. Knowledge of or experience with educational programs and accreditation processes. Compensation: Aspire Public Schools is dedicated to our teammate's well-being!
