Job Summary
The Regional Distributors Manager will act as SRO (Supplier Relationship Owner) on the region, managing the relationship with regional distributors from the Tail Program and connecting suppliers with IFF internal areas to guarantee the implementation and work to expand the program.IFF is a health, bioscience, and sensorial experience company functioning in creating scents, tastes (F&B), experiences, ingredients and solutions for products. Your responsibilities:
Understand the capabilities of regional distributors, the kind of products and from which manufacturers they can source.Support distributors partnerships developments and non-value-added suppliers’ optimization. Establish relationships with stakeholders from each different business in the region and understand their plant demands on quality, packaging, planning and forecast possibilities.Work closely with distributors and IFF Quality to follow up their actions on material approvals and harmonization.Support auctions and negotiations of new materials to increase strategic partnerships.Develop productivity actions with distributors and monitoring their development.Work with Buy desk to implement contingency plans on Tail Spend Programs to mitigate supply risks.Work on portfolio price calibration on regular basis.Guarantee alignment with Responsible Sourcing team for all distributors that takes part on Tail Spend Programs.Your qualifications:
University degree (Master’s or bachelor’s), i.e. in Business, Economics, science/engineering, logistics, supply chain or equivalent experience.Min. 5 years of experience in Procurement.Proficiency in spoken and written English, other language is a plus.Experience with project management approaches, tools and phases.Hands on experience in SAP (and/or other ERP systems) and good skills on MS office applications.Six Sigma Green Belt certification would be a plus.Your skills:
