Job Summary

The Regional Director, Provider Recruitment is responsible for the placement of key providers to assigned facilities for full life cycle recruitment. Assists facilities in meeting their strategic growth, medical staff development plan, and provider recruitment targets.

Essential Functions

Manages recruiting lifecycle in compliance with ScionHealth standards including opportunity profile, direct sourcing, advertising position, Applicant Tracking System (ATS) activity, resume screening, interviewing, feedback management, hiring recommendations, offer presentation, and negotiationPosts and maintains postings for assigned positions on all applicable job boards, sources candidates for assigned positions and conducts sourcing campaigns via direct mail, email, text and other appropriate avenues as neededConducts interviews using excellent listening and questioning skills in order to build applicant interest and determine applicant fit with facility need/profileUtilizes established forms to forward candidate through the recruitment processCollaborates with Provider Recruitment Leadership, CEO/Facility Leadership Teams, Physician Services team to outline/determine provider needs and vacanciesOutlines details related to the opportunities in preparation for proactive recruitment strategiesAttend provider recruitment events/meetings/career fairs representing ScionHealth for networking purposesMaintains accurate and up-to-date tracking of opportunities and candidate statuses through centralized database program and tracking toolsMaintains in-depth knowledge and understanding of industry trends including physician shortages/challenges and residency trainingConducts thorough background check, utilizing best practices, before formal offer/site visit invitation is extendedCoordinates physician schedules/interviews with facility leadershipPrepare weekly reports for Executive Level Recruiting, Organizational Chart meetings, and other needs as assignedMentor and coach Recruiting team on ScionHealth standards and recruiting best practices, when applicablePosition serves both internal co-workers and external customers, clients, patients, contractors, and vendorsAccess to and/or works with sensitive and/or confidential informationExhibit a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance (e.g., HIPAA)Skilled in the application of policies and procedures. Knowledge of Business Office Standards and Recommended Practices

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Experience

Business Mathematical Skills -- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret graphs.Moderate Computer Skills – Frequent use of electronic mail, word processing, data entry, spreadsheets, graphics, etc. Ability to create, maintain and incorporate simple functions into documents, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations to support business objectives.Complex Communication -- Frequently communicates complex information and interacts with management. Can present, resolve, and address delicate situations.
