Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to craft an unconstrained demand plan, optimize finished goods rationalization in collaboration with cross-functional teams, and enhance demand planning accuracy through measurement and reporting.The work model for the role is: #Li_onsiteThis role is contributing to the Robotics & Discrete Automation in Pune, India. You will be mainly accountable for:•Develop and maintain precise demand forecasts using SAP (Anaplan experience is a plus) by leveraging historical data, market trends, and statistical models.•Collaborate with supply chain, sales, marketing, operations, and finance teams to align forecasts, ensure optimal inventory levels, and support business objectives.•Perform data analysis, scenario planning, and reporting in SAP and Anaplan, ensuring data accuracy and supporting leadership with insights into risks and opportunities.•Drive efficiency by identifying improvement opportunities and implementing demand planning best practices, including monthly demand and product reviews with relevant units.•Manage product lifecycle transitions, including phase-in and phase-out processes between front-end sales and the RDC.
Qualifications for the roleA bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or equivalent experience.At least 3 years of experience in demand planning or a related role, preferably in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Proficiency in SAP and SAP APO; experience with Anaplan is an added advantage.Advanced expertise in Excel; familiarity with Power BI is considered a plus.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven mindset.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across global teams and departments.Self-motivated, with the capability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a rapidly changing environment.
