Regional Co-Man QFS Manager - Flavors NA - Erlanger, KY

Job Summary: 
This position will provide oversight and leadership for quality and food safety aspects for all contract-manufacturing locations supporting our North America Flavors business.  This role will interact with cross functional teams from the ideation stages of a co-man, through supporting the production development, production quality SME, and con-conformance leader. This position will report to the Regional Quality and Food Safety Manager – Flavors, NA.

Primary Job Functions: Perform initial approval ADM Co-man audit to ensure Co-man meets ADM’s quality and food safety expectations and control.Responsible for providing internal risk management score (IRM) for all regional co-mans on a quarterly basis and report to the ADM QFS tech Center.Develop and Monitor Quality KPIs.  Provide results to procurement to include in supplier scorecard and supplier reviews.Perform routine audits and visits by schedule or for-cause.Support Supply chain on formula and SKU transfers/scale-ups at approved Co-ManDevelop and implement Master Manufacturing Instruction guidelines. Act as QFS subject matter expert to support the production activities during development of SKU production and routine production issues as they come up.Provide ADM QFS oversight warehousing and distribution opportunities.Assist with customer and regulatory audits.Develop customer quality documentation to support customer quality team.Support Co-man non-conformance process for deviations/rejections to ensure proper CAPA’s are managed at the Co-man facility.Perform annual traceability exercise with each co-man and document accordingly.Bring new ideas and improvements to quality protocols and procedures to improve cost and efficiencies at sites.Collaborate with similar roles cross-BU to determine synergies and alignment to standards.Requirements:Minimum bachelor’s degree in food science, food safety, microbiology, or related technical degreeMandatory - Minimum of 5 years related experience in a food regulated industry.Excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as negotiation, influencing, and collaboration skills.Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally with internal and external customers.Willingness to innovate and adapt best practices.Ability to encourage trust between operations, Development, and quality departments with internal and external teams.Bilingual in English and Spanish: is highly desirable Ability to travel up to 20%, domestically.Working Conditions:Employees in this position working at this location are [or may be] exposed to various potential chemical and food allergens due to the nature of our business and the requirements of the job. If there is any reason such exposure would interfere with your ability to perform this role or work at the location, please notify the hiring manager.This position will require movement, working while standing, and extended computer use. Domestic and global travel is expected to be minimal.
