AssuredPartners West Region is excited to add a Regional Claims Team Leader to handle property and casualty claims. The Team Lead analyzes information of claims for clients, adjusters and Producers. 

 

This role makes recommendations on claims progress, reserves, potential claims resolutions, carrier effectiveness, in an effort to assist the client with the reduction of claims liability.  In addition to, the Team Lead responds to Producers on behalf of clients regarding situations or questions that require the application of state specific workers’ compensation regulations.  This role also supervises employees in the department.

What You'll Do

Please note that the duties below can vary based on the workflow of your local office.

Independently and pro-actively manages claims for assigned accounts including complex and challenging issues. Reviews insurance claim forms and related documents for completeness. Updates claim reporting information for companies. Works closely with clients, account executives, producers, managers and insurance carriers.Conducts client claims reviews and stewardship meetings with adjusters, legal counsel and or Producers. Stays current on property and casualty litigation, reforms, changes in laws and regulations in order to effectively respond to questions in claims reviews. Supervises the claims team and day-to-day job functions. Monitors and manages caseloads, reviews and audits claim files in accordance to the file audit procedures, performs supervisory review of claims in accordance with claim handling procedures, and ensures that client special handling instructions are followed. Responds to clients and internal emails or phone calls to obtain claims updates, information, and specific or general comments on claims. Works closely with Producers and assists with the sales and renewal processes. Prepares reports in client specific formats to monitor particular claims issues.Other duties as assigned.Travel is expected to be 35% in this role. What's in it For You?
