Regional Area Manager (South America)

Airswift is seeking a Regional Area Manager to work on a permanent contract in MacaƩ with a major Oil & Gas Company.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for leading the Brazilian office and site based team , notably including SHEQ, HR, and TD personnel*.
Responsible for managing specific overheads attributable to each operational base in the South America region, such overheads being necessary to satisfy the cash generation responsibility assigned to the Regional Area Manager.
Responsible for delivering projects/contracts (and project programs within contracts) safely, to the required quality standard, meeting or exceeding customer expectations (via FPAL or equivalent formal customer feedback mechanism), in accordance with modeled financial targets (project gross margin, WIP and debt) and within budget/sales forecast and contractual deadlines.
Responsible for the safety, health, quality and environmental performance of the site and onshore operations in the region.
Responsible for providing technical and operational information.
Responsible for regional compliance with SHEQ, operational, technical, administrative and communication processes and procedures.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant technical discipline
Fluent English
Proven knowledge and ability to manage project-based regions of multiple companies, using project-based financial reports and aggregation reports, profit and loss management accounts, balance sheets, sales forecasts, cash flow forecasts, WIP and debt reports and similar
Proven track record in providing high-margin technical services to large companies.
Proven knowledge and ability to manage contracts and disputes with customers and suppliers.
