**E. H. Wachs** is seeking a **Regional Account Manager** to join our **Utility** sales team. This role may be based in any of the following states within our Mid-Gulf sales territory: AL, AR, MS, LA, or TN.
**Position Overview:**
The Regional Account Manager, Mid Gulf (AL, AR, MS, LA, TN) position will be responsible for managing relationships with customers to maximize sales opportunities and ensure high levels of customer support and satisfaction within a specific geographic region. Managing complex, high-value, industrial sales cycles to a successful close. This position requires demonstration, setup, and operation of EH Wachs Valve Maintenance and Cutting equipment. Mechanical aptitude is critical.
**Essential Job Functions:**
+ Accomplish sales goal initiatives within a given territory and timeframe
+ Provide formal and informal equipment/application presentations
+ Identify qualified opportunities
+ Be timely and responsive communicator with customers and internal team members
+ Develop new customer growth while maintaining existing customers’ needs
+ Demonstrate products with specific application knowledge
+ Record sales activities in our CRM system
+ Create and track customers’ quotes and opportunities
+ Interface with customers, inside team, product managers, and sales manager to ensure customer requirements are understood and problems are resolved
+ Understand equipment capability and capacity to meet customer requirements
+ Represent products at trade shows, lunch-and-learn, industry events
+ Ability to manage multiple sales/projects concurrently
+ Required to adhere and comply with local, state and federal laws and safety standards
+ Must be able to assist in customer equipment evaluation and provide customer with guidance on maintenance and repair.
**Requirements:**
+ Team Player focus
+ 2-5 years minimum successful sales background or direct sales support
+ High School Diploma or equivalent Trade School Certification.
+ Must have the ability to maintain a valid Driver’s License
+ Willing to be self-sufficient for average daily needs
+ Mechanical aptitude
+ Be willing and able to travel consistently
+ Must possess strong positive sales ability as well as speaking, writing and organizational skills.
+ Highly self-motivated, resourceful and a strong problem-solver
+ Ability to work remotely with limited supervision.
+ Basic computer skills
+ Must be able to adjust to a changing work environment, competing demands, frequent changes, delays, and unexpected events.
+ Complete training provided by E.H. Wachs to possess broad knowledge of the company’s product lines, services, marketing techniques, and demonstration requirements.
+ Ability to lift (50lbs) and demonstrate equipment effectively.
+ Ability to travel up to 30% - 50% is required.
