**Where is the work:**
This is a **Remote** position.
**Job Summary:**
As a Regional Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing business strategy for assigned independent wholesale distributors (IWD). This position is designated as Remote within the United States.
**Job responsibilities:**
+ Responsible for the achievement of planned residential and light commercial sales, margin dollars, parts/supply and market share through distribution development with assigned accounts.
+ Develop distributor action plans focused on financial performance, business planning and strategy, territory coverage, succession planning, and sales competency development.
+ Communicate and ensure successful implementation of RS HVAC Equipment and Supply business, marketing, and sales plans.
+ Co-develop, with IWD support team, individual distributor marketing and sales plans that address the achievement of business objectives.
+ Schedule, coordinate, and conduct distributor training with emphasis on product quality and features, consultative selling, digital implementation and selling strategies leading to profitable growth throughout the distribution chain.
+ Respond to the needs and expectations of assigned distributors directly and indirectly through the IWD support team.
+ Responsible for efficient, thorough resolution of distribution conflict issues.
+ Continuously communicate with other regional sales managers to share best practices, and in turn, share with assigned distributors.
+ Ability to travel up to 30-40% within the United States
**Key competencies:**
+ Expert at business planning process with distributors and markets
+ Skilled in creative and implementing programs for individual market opportunities
+ Demonstrated collaboration with functional departments as necessary (pricing, product, logistics, etc.)
+ Skilled at developing distributor growth strategies and measuring results
+ Skilled at developing distributor territory managers for delivering our value-add message, as well as, supporting IRSMX, SPX, SELA
+ Strong communication skills, both written and oral
+ Strong presentation skills
+ Expert knowledge of Two Step Distribution
+ History of and the ability to develop and implement winning business strategies with important account assignments
+ Proven background in conflict resolution
+ Strong financial acumen (validating credit line reviews, IWD P&L, Dealer P&L)
+ Ability to determine true opportunity cost incorporating margin, advertising, rebates, concessions, etc. to enhance ability to sell outside of price
+ Working knowledge of computers, MS Office software, Siebel, Tableau, Oracle
**Education/Experience**
+ 4-year college degree, or equivalent work-related experience
+ 5 years experience working with Independent HVAC distribution preferred
**Compensation:**
Base Compensation Range is $91,000 - $212,500. Total compensation for this role also will include an incentive plan
Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
