Short Description

The Therapist must support and assure the efficient, effective, courteous testing of patients and reporting accurate results to physicians for interpretation.

Flexibility and excellent teamwork required in order to meet the needs of the physicians, patients, and coworkers. Assist Pulmonary Physicians in different locations that may require travel between sites.

This position requires independent working skills, which may include transporting a patient, faxing or scanning reports to physician offices, or any other function which can facilitate the operation of the Pulmonary Function Labs and the Bronchoscopy Suite.

Experience Required

Experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist (RPFT), required.

Education Requirements

Graduate of an AMA approved Respiratory Care Program.

 

Associate or bachelor's Degree.

License/Certification Requirements

Current NJ Respiratory License.

 

Current AHA/BLS
