About the Position:The Fresh Market currently has an opening for a Refrigeration Manager in our Store Support Center. The Refrigeration Manager will lead refrigeration/HVAC maintenance efforts for all retail locations. This role involves managing a team of Regional Refrigeration Specialists, overseeing repairs and installations, and ensuring compliance with safety and health standards. The Manager will also analyze system performance and expense data to improve efficiency and reduct costs while implementing preventative maintenance strategies. This role plays a crucial part in maintaing product quality and store operations, contibuting to overall business success.
What You'll Do:Manage a team of refrigeration/HVAC specialists to provide technical support to all retail locations with refrigeration/HVAC maintenance issues.Manage full-service maintenance contracts and vendor partners for refrigeration/HVAC.Manage refrigeration/HVAC control systems standards.Manage refrigeration/HVAC capital projects.Manage refrigeration/HVAC expense.Monitor & report out on EPA Compliance.Manage Refrigeration Monitoring Systems (GAMS/Ultrasite).Available for On Call 24/7, in rotation with other team members. Ability to travel 20%Qualifications:
5 years management of supermarket refrigeration service technicians.10 years of supermarket refrigeration service and start up experience, commissioning experience is a plus.A fluent understanding of CPC control systems, including programming.This position requires a highly motivated and creative individual, who thinks strategically and possesses strong analytical skills.A working knowledge of MS Office suite is essential.An understanding and expertise on general construction trades, EPA Refrigerant, governmental guidelines.The successful candidate will be a strong team player possessing excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication skills, and adaptable to a fast-paced, challenging environment.
