Job Details:
General Maintenance positions are responsible for keeping machinery running to maintain continuous production. You must be able set up, adjust and break down production line machinery. Must be able to learn Tyson SAP software to make work orders and fill out the daily documentation that is required in the system. Must be able to read and write where required. Must be able to use math as needed to make work related computations for machinery, fluid capacities, etc. Must be able to lift 70 lbs. on a daily basis and be able to work on your feet for a period of 12 hours. Must be willing to complete all required training for the job. Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on electric pallet moving equipment. Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on Industrial Refrigeration systems. Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on building and grounds. Perform preventative maintenance on batteries, battery chargers, battery racks, and carts as needed. Train in Hazmat and safety procedures and be respirator certified. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Refrigeration Maintenance positions require that you are currently enrolled in an Ammonia Refrigeration Maintenance Program (proof of enrollment is required) OR have one year of experience working in Ammonia Refrigeration Maintenance OR one year of classroom training from a Technical College (proof of training is required with a passing grade) OR must have graduated from a technical college with a certification in Ammonia Refrigeration Maintenance OR one year of HVAC experience. You must have three months of work history within the last six months to be considered for these positions. If the applicant provides proof of enrollment in Ammonia Refrigeration Maintenance OR proof they graduated within the last six months, the requirement for 3 of the last 6 months of work history will be waived.
