Job Title: Construction Foreman/Superintendent
Division: Refined Fuels Above and Underground Storage Tanks
Pay Rate: $30-40 per hour
Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Construction Foreman/Superintendent for hands-on construction work in the Refined Fuels division. This role involves frequent travel and managing crews to ensure efficient and profitable repair and upgrading of fueling systems. The ideal candidate will have strong independent judgment, field training experience, and a commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee installation and retrofitting of fueling systems, including tanks, piping, and dispensers.Perform hands-on construction tasks, including digging and operating equipment in tight spaces.Manage field crews and subcontractors, ensuring quality control.Communicate effectively with the Refined Fuels Project Manager to maintain schedules and budgets.Complete daily reports, including field logs and safety meeting notes.Review and approve timesheets for accuracy.Maintain and operate equipment, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.Understand and adhere to state storage tank regulations.Job Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent; coursework in Construction Management is a plus.Preferred five or more years of experience in underground/above-ground storage installation, with three years in a supervisory role.OSHA 40-hour Hazwoper training and confined space training preferred.Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.Proficient in MS Office and database management.Excellent people skills and attention to detail; must be adaptable to changing workloads.Supervisory Responsibilities:
Supervise a crew of 2-10 members.Physical Demands:
Valid driver's license with a good driving record; ability to lift up to 80 pounds.Capable of climbing, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.Working Conditions:
Work outdoors in varying conditions; extensive travel required (1-5 days a week, occasionally longer).Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
