Job Description

Infrastructure Setup and Configuration: Assist in the design and implementation of GCP infrastructure components, including virtual networks, subnets, and firewalls, using Terraform.GKE Management: Deploy, configure, and maintain Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) clusters.Cloud Run: Deploy and manage applications on Cloud Run.Cloud SQL: Set up, configure, and maintain Cloud SQL instances.Firebase and Firestore: Set up and manage Firebase and Firestore databases.Database Replication and DR: Implement and maintain database replication strategies and disaster recovery (DR) plans for databases.GKE DR: Implement and maintain disaster recovery (DR) plans for GKE clusters.Networking and Security: Configure and manage network infrastructure, including firewalls, and ensure adherence to security best practices.Monitoring and Alerting: Implement monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and address infrastructure issues.Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance tasks and troubleshoot infrastructure-related problems.Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure configurations and procedures.Collaboration: Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications.Security: Implement and enforce security best practices to protect data and infrastructure.Python programming knowledge is an added advantage.

Qualifications

5-7 years of experience in cloud infrastructure support or a similar role.Strong understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.Experience with setting up and maintaining GKE clusters.Experience with Cloud Run.Experience with Cloud SQL.Experience with Firebase and Firestore.Basic understanding of networking principles, including VPCs, subnets, firewalls, and routing.Familiarity with database replication and disaster recovery concepts.Solid understanding of security best practices in a cloud environment.Experience with monitoring and logging tools.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Strong communication and collaboration abilities.Experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
