Job Description
To serve as a Human Resources team member and support all of its work with the primary responsibilities of processing transactions for hourly employees and part-time faculty; entering AP Faculty evaluations; processing classification actions; and assisting the Senior Assistant Director with special projects.

Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply human resources principles and practices.
Demonstrated ability to meet critical deadlines. Working knowledge of personal computers and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Word). Demonstrated keyboarding skills. Demonstrated ability to understand and enter data in complex automated systems. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to process routine administrative work with minimal supervision. Demonstrated ability to interpret policy and procedures.

Considerable experience in clerical work which include data entry, word processing, and database maintenance. Considerable experience in policy interpretation. Considerable experience in recruitment and selection related to human resources.

Hands-on training courses or on-the-job experience in Microsoft Office. Some experience in a higher education or human resources/payroll setting.
