Dewberry is currently seeking a Recruiting Assistant to join the Human Resources Department based out of our Fairfax, VA office. You will provide support services to the in-house recruiting team by executing various administrative activities. This is a great opportunity to be a critical member of a high-performing team.

Responsibilities Create and distribute offer letters and initiate background checksUpdate candidate status within internal HR systemsManage our internal employee referral program, process referral payment requests, and track referral dataServe as point-of-contact for the internal applicant tracking system, iCIMSInitiate a search for a new background check vendorFile new hire paperwork and resumes within the internal file databaseAssist the recruiting team with scheduling candidate interviewsProcess candidate travel reimbursement requestsInitiate quarterly drivers record checksOversee drug testing program and process drug testing requestsWork with compensation team to prepare quarterly hiring reportSupport the college recruiting team by assisting with packing and shipping career fair materials and candidate gifts, as well as other administrative duties as needed Required Skills & Required Experience Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related fieldAt least 2 years of administrative experience, preferably supporting a recruiting or HR teamProven ability to consistently contribute in a fast-paced work environment with the ability to prioritize and execute projects and individual tasks and manage time effectivelyExceptional customer service focus, including attention to producing quality results and attention to detailStrong interpersonal, teamwork, and organizational skills with superior verbal and written communication skillsProficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook)Ability to be onsite in our Fairfax, VA office at least three days per week
