Summary – basic function of the role We are seeking an independent, self-motivated Recruiter with a creative, outside-the-box approach to sourcing talent. This role will focus on high volume recruiting hourly talent across our U.S. locations and professional roles at our corporate headquarters. The Recruiter will partner with hiring managers to develop and implement effective recruiting strategies that attract highly qualified candidates. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the full lifecycle of talent acquisition, ensuring successful hires, and delivering an exceptional candidate experience throughout the hiring and onboarding processes. Organizational leaders are open to new and innovative approaches to recruitment, making this an exciting opportunity for a forward-thinking professional. Location: The primary location for this position is Columbus, WI, with the expectation of being in our Milwaukee headquarters at least once per month, or more frequently if preferred by the candidate. This role requires in-office attendance from Monday through Thursday, with Fridays designated as a work-from-home day. Shift: Monday – Friday; 8:00 am – 4:30 pm; flexible Job Duties and Responsibilities Conduct scoping meetings with hiring managers to define recruitment strategies and ensure alignment of job requirements and candidate qualifications. Develop tailored recruitment plans that address specific needs and attract high-quality candidates efficiently. Create attractive job postings with a lens towards increasing attraction of diverse candidates. Source passive and active talent using internet sourcing methods, social media, job fairs, and creative sourcing techniques. Determine new resourceful means of attracting talent including creation of recruiting collateral and placing job advertisements in various media. Develops and maintains contacts with schools, alumni groups, and other public organizations to find and attract applicants. Coordinates and participates in onsite and external job fairs and represents Enerpac. Vendor management - Partner with external staffing agencies and recruitment partners to identify and engage qualified candidates. Develop and manage candidate pools for recurring high-volume roles to streamline the hiring process for ongoing staffing needs. Review resumes, conduct phone interviews, and assess candidates’ skills to ensure a strong match with role requirements. Arrange and coordinate onsite interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring seamless and professional experience. Draft offer letters and collaborate with third-party vendors for background checks and drug screens. Coordinate onboarding with new hire to ensure a seamless first day at Enerpac Tool Group. Contribute to the development and refinement of recruitment policies and best practices, striving to improve recruitment processes and outcomes across the organization. Expertise in managing the full recruitment process from sourcing to offer acceptance and onboarding. Experience infusing diversity, equity and inclusion into hiring practices Excellent interpersonal communication skills to engage with candidates and hiring teams at all levels. Able to thrive in a dynamic environment, adapting quickly to changing needs and priorities. Education and Experience Education Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required Experience Requirements: Experience with an Applicant Tracking System is required, experience with iCIMS is a plus 2 -3 years’ experience working with full cycle recruiting, specifically recruiting hourly candidates, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Proven experience in high-volume recruitment and a demonstrated ability to engage diverse talent pools. Physical Demands Employee may have to lift documents/work materials up to 30 pounds in weight. Employee will have to be able to walk/climb to a variety of primary work locations, including traveling by air/auto to remote sites. Employee will need to listen, understand, and speak with team members in person, telephonically, and electronically at all levels within a diverse workforce and with supported organizations. Employee is able to work in front of a personal computer and telephone for long periods of time. Work Environment Primary work environment is temperature controlled office setting but may also be visiting different manufacturing facilities where following appropriate safety protocols at the location would be required. Employee will be exposed to low levels of noise in an office.
