Position Summary:

The responsibilities of a recruiter include identifying future hiring needs, sourcing candidates through databases and social media. Conducts research, analysis, networking to attract a diverse pool of qualified talent for the organization.

Isleta Resort and Casino Guest Service Agreement

All Team Members will display 100% commitment to World Class Guest Service through the delivery and maintenance of Guest Service Standards established by the Isleta Resort and Casino.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities: This list of tasks is illustrative ONLY and is not a comprehensive listing of all functions and tasks performed by positions in this class. Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process. Provide coaching to management in the areas of recruitment and hiring to improve organizational effectiveness. Work with management to review, analyze and clarify job roles, requirements, responsibilities, and competencies/skills required and to gain an understanding of business operations to maximize recruitment efforts. Develop recruiting strategies designed to identify qualified candidates through various recruiting tools (LinkedIn, various job boards, networking events, job fairs, non-profits, social media, community partnerships etc.) Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization. Assists with job posting and advertisement processes. Work with Marketing to create and enhance employer branding strategies. Screens applications and selects qualified candidates. Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent, required. (2) years in Human Resources with a minimum of one (1) year in recruitment and onboarding preferred. Knowledge of ATS software and Microsoft Office preferred. Social media or online recruiting experience a plus. Equivalent combination of relevant education, experience and training will be considered.

Special Requirements, Licenses, and Certification

Must be able to acquire and maintain Key Gaming License issued through POIGRA. Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and background investigation. Must be flexible with work schedule. Must be willing to work any days/hours as needed or required to meet business needs. Must maintain all Isleta Resort and Casino-wide educational and certification requirements.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics. Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles. Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment. Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Must be able to walk, stand, or sit for long periods of time. Must be able to carry, lift, and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Working Conditions:

May occasionally deal with angry or hostile individuals. May occasionally work in a smoke-filled environment. Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment. No or very limited exposure to physical risk. Work hours subject to change.
