Responsibilities: 

Supervises and oversee a group of 10 staff.Participates in varias meetings; department head, Quality Assurance, and staff meetingsImplements daily recreation program for the residents of assigned units under the guidance of the department head. Assists in the preparation for programs; encourages residents’ participation and assists in transportation of residents to these programs. Complete written documentation including attendance records and progress notes. Provides data to department head and recreation specialist. Maintains adequate supplies and equipment for use in recreational activities. 

 

Job Type: Full Time

Salary: $33.97-$42.46 per hour

Qualifications

Qualifications: 

2 years of experience in activities/recreation Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS)Music Therapy-Board Certified (MT-BC)Art Therapy- Board Certified (ATRBC) Licensed Creative Art Therapist (LCAT)

Education: 

High School Diploma/GED BS Degree in Therapeutic Recreation preferred  Salary

Salary: $33.97-$42.46 per hour
