Responsibilities Serves as Facility Assistant in a fitness facility. Works under the direction of the Fitness Facility Manager. Assists Facility Manager in the overall management and operation of a fitness facility. Circulates among patrons to assure service is satisfactory. Provides information and general instruction on the use of equipment facilities and machinery. Performs facility cleanliness and/or monitors contracts. Conducts classes and walks all facility rooms to provide guidance or referral, as appropriate. Assists with the publicity of programs and events. Assists with marketing of posters, flyers and other promotional material. Issues and receives equipment to authorized users. Assists with the inventory of property. Monitors fitness equipment conditions; tracks maintenance and repair or replacement. Cleans and performs minor maintenance on facility equipment. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Possesses directly related work experience that includes the demonstrated ability to operate multiple fitness facilities. The related work experience must have been equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the NF-01 level.
