Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar position in the hospitality industry is highly recommended Excellent communication skills in the English language (read, write and speak) Team player Have an organised and structured approach Excellent observation skills and attention to detail Ability to work well under pressure and willing to go the extra mile Key Responsibilities:
Front Office duties, including greeting and checking in of guests and providing information about restaurants, activities and services Host and engage with guests in the restaurants, leisure and conferences venues Responsible for accurate and efficient accounts and guest billing processes Assist in ensuring that the facilities are clean and tidy General office duties including filing, e-mailing and telephone duties To administer the general petty cash system and float Administer reservations of various business units Report any maintenance, breakage, or cleanliness issues to the relevant department Act as Duty Manager when required Upselling all merchandise Assistance in food and beverage service Setting up buffet, honesty bar, braai and preparing platters, light meals and picnics Assist with room checks and managing housekeeping Stock control Assist with social media
