• Provide additional supervision, control, and monitor processes and workflows for Receiving and Inventory.
• Manage the receiving process and stock inventory.
• Supervise and train staff engaged in all warehouse activities to include receiving, stocking, processing, inventory control, safety, and loss prevention.
• Communicate regularly with Supervisor and Manager

Ensure Departmental compliance with safety policies and procedures.Coordinates workflow for the team so they are accurately scheduled for production and fulfillment.May lead various positions in the Receiving areas.Train and coach new employees, including temporary employees, on department work instructions and processes. procedures and policies.Provide training/cross-training in equipment and process operations as needed.May act as the “go to” person when assistance with procedures, equipment, or information is required.Review processes for improvement, assist with implementation, maintain as directed by the manager.Perform and direct all tasks, following approved work instructions and established departmental and /or customer procedures involved with receiving, stocking, and inventory, under minimal supervision.Transport materials, parts, supplies, and equipment as well as packing and shipping products throughout the facility.Ensure shipping supplies, boxes, bubble wrap, tape, etc., are in stock, inform the manager to reorder levels.Follow department processes for Receiving and Inventory.Overseas cycle counts as required.Coordinate, clarify, and prioritize functions of the department.Professionally interacts with team, Managers, and Office support team.Oversee compliance with practices and maintain an orderly and safe warehouse.Develop and maintain a good working relationship and open lines of communication with all departments to ensure Department, Company, and Customer goals are achieved.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES

Good understanding of inventory managementStrong problem-solving skillsAbility to communicate clearly and concisely.Willingness to learn & adapt.Strong math, reading, and writing skills.Computer proficient and able to use company ERP systems.Experience with various models of powered industrial equipment i.e. forklift, stand-up reach, and order picker.Physical ability to stand for long periods.Physical ability to lift 20 to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally with a two-person lift.

TRAINING and EXPERIENCE

3 - 5 years of warehouse experience

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will spend a large majority of time walking, standing, and using hands to push/pull. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee is required to lift and /or move up to 20 to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally with a two-person lift. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee may be exposed to hot or cold temperatures, outside weather conditions, and risk of electrical shock. The employee may be exposed to high, precarious places, fumes, or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
