**Job Title: QC Technician** **Job Description** This role functions as a QC technician working in the warehouse of an aerospace manufacturing company in Phoenix, AZ. The primary function is to verify the accuracy of basic part dimensions and sizes via hand inspection tools. This role also requires strong use of computer skills to document and verify information. Responsibilities include performing basic Quality Inspection for most of the day (90%), using micrometers and calipers for basic inspections of materials, monitoring the internal auditing system, entering data from final inspections into the internal database, and entering data for incoming/receiving shipments of engine components. **Hard Skills** + Quality Control Experience + ERP/MRP + Receiving inspection + Proficiency with Microsoft Office + Familiarity with UPS, FedEx coding and labeling system + Use of micrometers and calipers **Soft Skills** + Attention to detail + Team collaboration + Strong documentation skills **Job Type** This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s). **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Phoenix, Arizona. **Work Environment** Aerospace Manufacturing Environment. Facility sits on-site near the Sky Harbor Airport. Very team-cultured work environment - tight-knit group. Follows Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement principles and guidelines. Work schedule: Monday-Thursday 2:15 pm to 11:45 pm (9 hours/day), Friday 2:15 pm to 6:15 pm (4 hours).
