We are looking for a Quality Project Lead at our location in Saltillo.
Responsibilities:
• First quality contact with supplier and ZF’s quality and operations representatives, within the incoming inspection forums for direct material. Leading indirect employees, as incoming inspection auditors.
• Evaluate, approve, or reject and monitor supplier quality for purchased components at the incoming inspection process, according to component drawing specifications, internal quality requirements (QD83) and customer specifications if applicable. Work with suppliers to improve their quality performance.
• Objective is to have a successful quality control for supplier parts, within compliance with quality KPI's and deliverables; supporting the SQE (Supplier Quality Engineer) and entire Operations colleagues to continuously receive parts, monitor them, and deliver them for use in production.
Requirements:
• Engineering bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Minimum 2 years within quality areas, projects, industrial environment. Highly self-administrative.
• Desirable, customer or supplier management.
• APQP, 8D’s 15Why’s Problem solving, SPC, IATF 16949, Drawing Interpretation (GD&T), PPAP, MSA, FMEA, SAP.
• MS Office skills, Excel, Power Bi, PowerPoint.
• English professional working proficiency.
