Realty Specialist
Job Description An employer is looking for a Realty Specialist to join their team in New Orleans, this role pays from $60,000 - $70,000 depending on experience. In the role of Realty Specialist for the Real Estate Section of the Facilities Department, we expect you to: Provide Real Estate section operations support to include real property or land acquisition, management, disposal, and government invoicing (G-Invoicing) program activities. Assist the Real Estate Manager with technical issue resolution through Navy and Marine Corps policy and regulation interpretation and application. Review proposed memoranda of agreement, memoranda of understanding, and other agreements to ensure they are in the clients best interests. Establish and maintain liaison with representatives of other Department of Defense (DoD) components, Federal agencies, other state and local land management organizations, and private individuals, both non-profit and profit organizations, to coordinate and implement client programs, and to stay current with DoD-wide real estate issues. Coordinate with military service branch representatives in identifying essential support of Marine Corps units to include reimbursable items (e.g. utilities, postage, and custodial). Review and coordinate Inter-service support agreements (ISSAs) and general terms and conditions (GT&Cs) with other Federal agencies; review and track funding request in support of ISSA requirements; assist with ISSA phase out. Prepare and review routine and complex real estate transactions with federal, state, and local government agencies as well as with the general public. Provide technical information and support data to the client for congressional hearings or as required. Review, analyze, and coordinate Marine Corps Off-Site Training Requests (OSTR), and develop appropriate Real Estate documentation. Review real estate correspondence, projects, and studies for accuracy, completeness of technical detail, and conformance to established federal policy. Assist with program improvement to include identification of operational efficiencies and cost reduction measures. Maintain client Real Estate document databases to include Microsoft SharePoint, G-Invoicing, and ISSA tracker.
