Job Description

To develop engineering designs applying sound engineering principles and utilising engineering practises such as Computer Aided Drawings (CAD). The role also requires the review of electrical and mechanical engineering designs from external consultant with the aim of ensuring compliance to legislative and Standard Bank specific standards. The job requires the candidate to have an overall focus on improving facility operation, reducing energy consumption and improving overall efficiency. Through the execution of projects, the role requires the investigation, identification and execution of opportunities which reduce the carbon emissions for the Standard Bank Group with minimal to no supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Support the development of projects related to Professional and Technical Services: Engineering and Energy managementDesign Engineering (energy, mechanical and electrical)Manage projects of work related to Professional and Technical ServicesManage financial and procurement of work related to the engineering and energy managementDevelop innovative solutions for the use of technologies as well as business processes and resource management.

Qualifications

You have completed or completing a BSc Engineering Degree or higher in 2024 in:

Mechanical EngineeringElectrical EngineeringChemical EngineeringCivil EngineeringElectronic EngineeringComputer engineering

South African Citizen

Maximum of two years’ work experience

Minimum of 60% average over all years of study
