As the Receiving Clerk in the Retail Distribution Center, you will play a vital role in supporting the behind-the-scenes functions that keep the retail department running smoothly on a day-to-day basis. Job Summary: This role involves managing paperwork and processes for product receiving and distribution, assisting with inventory discrepancies, and maintaining organized records. It also includes collaboration with Accounts Payable, supporting administrative tasks in the distribution center, participating in retail inventories, and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards. The Details: Position Type: Seasonal Season Dates: January 2025 - November 2025 Pay: $16.50/hour Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays) Why Yellowstone National Park? Responsibilities Complete all paperwork and computer processes related to product receiving and distribution in a timely manner Assist stores in resolving inventory discrepancies with guidance from the Assistant Director of Retail Accurately address inventory discrepancies in accordance with company policies Maintain organized and accurate records of inventory and transactions Collaborate with Accounts Payable to reconcile orders efficiently Keep an open line of communication regarding any job-related issues or concerns Support the Administrative Assistant with various tasks, including receiving, Cloud Suite functions, and purchasing Participate in Retail Distribution Center tasks as needed, including processing merchandise and ensuring a safe work environment Qualifications Must be at least 19 years of age, possess a valid driver’s license, and be able to safely operate a company vehicle. Must be able to communicate professionally and with courtesy Have accurate and moderately fast computer skills Have basic accounting and filing skills Have ability to accept direction and work cooperatively with other department personnel and to function with other Xanterra Departments, as needed Basic understanding of Word and Excel computer programs preferred Understand overall inventory control procedures; assist with inventory files, as needed Physical Requirements include: Able to stand/walk for a minimum eight-hour shift Frequently lift and move cartons weighing up to 50 pounds Carry boxes/product up and down stairs at most locations several times a day Maintain proper ergonomics when working at a desk/workstation during an eight-hour shift We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
