RD&E Group Leader

As the RD&E Leader at Purolite, an Ecolab Company, you will join our Purification division. Purolite is a market leader in resin-based separation, purification, and extraction technologies. In this role as the RD&E Group Leader you will have a critical role within our organization, responsible for leading and managing innovation projects and teams. This role requires a dynamic individual who can balance hands-on team management with strategic leadership.

What You Will Do:

Lead and manage the development and execution of innovation projects from concept to completion, including setting project goals, coordinating team activities, and ensuring projects are on time, within budget, and meet customer requirement and quality standards.Develop and manage a team of research scientists to support strategic RD&E needs. Foster a collaborative and inclusive environment that encourages creativity and innovation.Work closely with senior management to develop strategic plans for the RD&E group, including identifying opportunities for innovation, setting priorities, and allocating resources effectively.Promote a culture of safety within the RD&E group. Ensure all team members adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.Collaborate closely with our marketing and sales team to align project goals. Coordinate and communicate project status, challenges, and outcomes to stakeholders and senior RD&E management.Ensure the development and utility of Intellectual Property, through patent filings, trade secrets, and the support of Technical Notebooks and ReportsDemonstrate cross functional and global thinking in planning and prioritizing projects and initiatives.Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the RD&E group. Encourage team members to challenge the status quo and seek innovative solutions to complex problems

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor of science degree and and 8 years of related experienceExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creativelyProven experience in leading phase-gate innovation projectsStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsImmigration Sponsorship not available for this roleRelocation not offered for this role

Preferred Qualifications:

Master of science and 5 years or PhD and 3 years.Relevant experience and knowledge in the Ion Exchange spacePhD in chemistry or chemical engineering or a related technical disciplineDemonstrated ability to drive initiatives, negotiate approaches and deliverables, and achieve agreed to outcomes
