RCO Manager I Investigation [A] , KYC

The Registration and Compliance Operations (RCO) team is looking for an outstanding seasonal manager with a passion for leading an operations team in the Know Your Customer (KYC) function. The primary responsibility of this role is to mitigate regulatory and legal risks, as well as prevent bad actors, through a combination of automated and manual investigations. This helps safeguard all Amazon marketplaces, ensuring long-term buyer satisfaction with their experience. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where each day brings new challenges and opportunities. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will need to work with various stakeholders to identify issues, analyze root causes, and drive improvements. The primary responsibilities of this position include providing leadership and guidance to teams under your supervision, managing team members to achieve productivity and qualit y goals, and meeting expected service levels. You will work closely with the program team, process owners, training, workforce management, analytics, and other teams within RCO. Key Job Responsibilities • Coach team members individually and regularly on performance metrics as well as career aspirations. • Conduct detailed analysis of operational performance metrics and make data-driven business decisions. • Develop employees and their skill sets to expand team capabilities and provide growth opportunities for future Amazon leaders. • Maintain and improve employee engagement through effective people management and motivational techniques. • Manage a team of 12-15 individual contributors. • Manage individual and team performance expectations and goals, monitor real-time service levels, and ensure schedule adherence. • Monitor and lead the team to meet and exceed key performance metrics for quality and productivity. • Serve as the primary point of contact for production issues related to investigations. • Strive for operational excellence and process improvement by analyzing key business levers to identify trends and proactively addressing root causes of defects. Basic Qualifications - ✓ >1 year experience in KYC, Compliance, AML, Banking, Risk Management, or related - processes. - ✓ A Bachelor’s degree. - ✓ Advanced working knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel. - ✓ Availability to work either the AM shift (8 AM - 5 PM) or the PM shift (1 PM - 10 PM). - ✓ Excellent English and Portuguese communication and interpersonal skills. - ✓ Operational excellence skills. - ✓ People management skills. - ✓ Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and decision-making skills. Preferred Qualifications - ▪ Exposure to Six Sigma, Agile or Lean Management methodologies or equivalent - working experience. - ▪ Project management experience.
