Job Description:

Functional

Lead the Industry 4.0 solutions implementation for RC APAC Factory environments, driving standardization in line with the corporate platform.Create Industry 4.0 Roadmaps for the factory and supply chain environments within the APAC regionFunctionally represent APAC within global Industry 4.0 forums and teams.

Technical

The technical lead, for Industry 4.0 Projects, bringing technology and external partners together with Internal stakeholders to develop Ideation and solutions (experience with Design thinking methodology - advantageous)Understanding of complex Factory telemetry systems and communication methodologies - combining with Business strategies and measures for mutual outcomes.

Project Management

Creating long-term and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines for projects in Industry 4.0 manufacturing transformations.Responsible for analyzing the scope of work and assisting in the development of manpower plan requirements to complete projects within time constraints defined in the project timeline.Making effective decisions and recommendations to leadership when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project.

Business Communication & Cross Functional Team Collaboration

Works with the DT Director to create project timelines for design tasks from critical project milestones.Drive Industry 4.0 collaboration within Royal Canin to leverage value from a large Enterprise..Stay connected with the industry to ensure that the best-in-class industry technology is reflected in platform and product strategic roadmaps.Bring External perspectives, to develop new lines of thinking and opportunitiesServing as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy.Participate in meetings to bring together manufacturing with IT during implementation.

University Bachelor’s Degree in System Engineering, Mechatronics, or Computer Science/IT

3+ years working in IoT device, and systems development2+ years implementing and managing automation pipelines2+ years experience in telemetry and communication protocols (Modbus/485/Profibus/OPC)Additional experience and/or exposure to the following technologies a plus: MES/MoM, PLC, Industrial Engineering.Knowledge of some or all of the following: Jira, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, CI / CD, Jenkins, Puppet, Ansible, Splunk, Nexus, MATLAB, MQTT, LoRa, LTE, NB-IoT, Python, Prometheus, Grafana, GitLab, C# and Java.Advanced Data Knowledge, Data Mining, Data ModellingGood business process understanding of the FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) industry (preferred), and business knowledge in Value Chain Operation including plant operation, supply chain, etc.Fluency in EnglishAwareness of emerging technologiesStrong influencer with excellent communication skillsSelf motivated and proactive, ability to anticipate issues earlyAbility to manage a high level of complexity and uncertaintyConsensus builder across diverse interest groupsAbility to deliver in a cross cultural environmentStrong customer focus, communication, teamwork and negotiation skillsGood communication, especially in English and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and project manager and Business AnalysisAbility to work effectively in a flexible and changing environment, manages multiple activities and priorities, and work well under pressure.
