Rapid Response RN, Float Pool FT Nights
**Employment Type:** Full time **Shift:** 12 Hour Night Shift **Description:** The St. Mary's RN Float Pool consists of 2 different levels: The Float RN Level 1 is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of patients in a variety of specified nursing units. Must have a minimum of 18 months med/surg/intermediate care experience. The Float RN Level 2 is responsible for assessing. planning, implementing and evaluating the care of patients in a variety of nursing units including specialty areas ( ED and/or Critical Care. Must have a minimum of 18 months med/surg/intermediate care experience and one year of specialty experience, i.e. Emergency, and/or critical care experience. **Licensure/Certification/Registration** : Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia. Current BLS certification required. Current ACLS certification required. **Education:** Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. **Experience:** Experience required **Degree of Supervision Required:** Accountable to Unit Director or House Supervisor. Full Time Nights 7p-7a **Rapid Response Addendum:** + This clinician brings immediate critical care expertise to the patient bedside to help provide early interventions for the patient who is exhibiting early signs of decompensation + Initiates stroke alert on Inpatient Units; responds to Sepsis Alerts on Inpatient Units + Able to provide care for the patient population in an attempt to prevent further decompensation that could lead to cardiac or respiratory arrest + Assessment of unstable patient and a collaborative approach towards plan of care for the patient + Provides education and training to the nursing staff + ACLS + Participates in data collection, quality assurance and code review **Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion** Trinity Health is one of the largest not-for-profit, Catholic healthcare systems in the nation.
