Siemens Mobility Thailand is looking for a RAMS Manager for our project team in Bangkok.

As a RAMS Manager:

You are responsible to lead the project specific RAMS process from an overall System perspective together with the RAM teams from the subsystems (signaling, power supply, rolling stock etc.), and the interfaces to Independent Assessors, international consultants acting as employer’s representative and the employer. You define, perform and supervise the process in accordance with the company policy as well as mandatory requirements, regulations and international standards (e. g. EN 50126, EN 50128, EN 50129, EN 61508).  You are responsible for the preparation of project-specific RAM documentation including RAM apportionment, RAM design reports, RAM compliance report as well as RAM concepts, plans and processes. You are involved in system integration tests and trial runs to prepare and perform the RAM demonstration activities, i.e. RAM demonstration planning, performance of the RAM performance tests and the prepare of the related RAM demonstration report.  You are responsible for all activities related to the definition, implementation and ramp-up of FRACAS process and the related tool together with the Employer and the Operator. 

What you need to make real what matters

You have an engineering degree in electrical/ traffic engineering with the focus on RAMS management, or comparable technical based apprenticeship. In addition, you have many years of professional experience in applied system safety including large engineering projects in the railway You have already been able to acquire in-depth knowledge of system RAMS analysis techniques, engineering processes and standards including EN 50126. You have profound experience in the preparation of RAM modelling and RAM apportionment  You also gained experience in technical team leadership.
