Rainmaker: ePOS Campaign Manager

Role Purpose

A new and pioneering division within Shoprite is looking to appoint a campaign management subject matter expert in the ePOS space to lead all campaign management activities in accordance with the strategic intent and trade plans. Researching, proposing and directing all point-of-sale related campaigns and managing across multiple accounts, providing guidance and input to other team members as well as integrating the ideas and requirements of multiple cross functional stakeholders. The role consolidates and reports on a variety of campaign management activities providing a bird’s eye view of all activities underway in this space and also drives the improvement of processes within the campaign management team.

Role Description

• Establishes campaign management best practices, frameworks, practices and guidelines.

• Leads and participates across multiple accountant campaigns, providing campaign management oversight

• Establishing and reviewing set up and related processes aimed to streamline the execution of ePOS campaigns via a centralised system.

• Accountable for researching, proposing, directing, tracking and monitoring all ePOS campaigns.

• Building effective relationships as a key accounts manager and mobilising general stakeholder engagement.

• Establishing and managing workflows between client and the campaign management team

• Evaluating effectiveness of campaign strategies and facilitating discussions to replicate successes and/or improve where required.

• Responsible for consolidating campaign reporting and making the necessary connections between campaigns and/or highlighting factors of particular value to suppliers, the campaign management team and/or other stakeholders.

• Quality checking the invoicing of campaigns and related cost and budget management.

• Ability to break work into parts to obtain support and inputs and/or make improvements to a process

and/or part thereof to ensure ongoing improvement.

• Provides coaching to other campaign management team members to build capacity within the team.

• Researching and developing new ways of working in conjunction with the Team lead and other team members.

Qualifications and experience

• BCom (Marketing) qualification or similar – (essential).

• BCom (Marketing) post graduate qualification or similar – (preferred).

• +6 years’ experience in a campaign management role (e.g., advertising/media), acting as a campaign

management subject matter, providing leadership on campaign management and related activities –

(essential).
