Assists the physician during casting, treatment and examination of the patient. **The value you’ll bring to the team:** + Will be performing post op cystograms on a C-arm + Prepares patients for radiology procedures. Takes x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety. + Uses a gonadal shielding when possible for all patients of childbearing age and all pediatric patients. + Develops and processes radiology film. + Maintains x-ray film files in a neat and orderly fashion.Ensures that reports and/or films are available for the physician in a timely manner. + Logs radiology procedures completed.Processes routine paper work.Types and files reports as requested. **The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:** **Minimum qualifications** : + High school graduate or equivalent. + Graduate of a recognized Radiology Technology program + 1 year medical office experience preferred + Current, valid State of Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist license + Current, valid American Registry of Radiology Technologists certification + Current, valid BLS certification This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
