Short Description
For assigned locations, supervises the daily operations of the front deskPrepares monthly work schedule. Ensures time off requests are approved according to organizational needsWorks to ensure the department is properly staffed to provide excellent customer serviceAddresses performance issues in a timely and appropriate mannerPerforms annual staff evaluations promptly and any counseling needed for direct reports.Works with Front Desk Coordinator and Lead Trainer to orient/train new employeesEnsures all aspects of training are completed. Provides support and direction to new staff to ensure successFor location assigned, develop expertise in the computer systems used, particularly the RIS, in order to train staff properly, troubleshoot technical issues and to ensure accurate data input and storage
Experience Required
Previous management/supervisory experience requiredPrevious experience in Customer Service requiredMedical office experience and knowledge of medical terminology a plusMust possess leadership skills. Must be accurate and thorough in all aspects of the workMust be computer literate and able to quickly adapt to changing technologiesMust have Excel/Word skills, or ability to become proficient quickly in these applications
Education Requirements
High School Graduate or equivalent required, some college preferred
