**Northwest Health Porter is looking for a Radiology Extern Student to join our team!** **Education:** In the first or second year of an accredited JRCERT accredited school of radiologic technology or equivalent, Ultrasound, MRI, CT. **Certifications/Experience:** + Enrolled in a school of radiologic technology or equivalent. + Limited licensed by the State of Indiana as a student in an accredited program. + BLS required **Who are we?** **Northwest Health - Porter** includes two hospital campuses as well as outpatient facilities serving Northwest Indiana. Assist in producing radiographs (x-rays) to aid in the diagnosis of medical problems. Prevents patient from being exposed to unnecessary radiation. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision at all times. Typically reports to a rad technologist or manager. Enrolled in a Radiology program from an accredited program.
