Radiology Assistant - St. Mary Medical Center in Walla Walla, WA

Provide ongoing compassionate patient care by assisting the imaging technologist, radiologist and patient before, during and after the imaging procedure.  Provide transport, patient monitoring, POC testing, assisting in aseptic procedures, and venipuncture (determined by departmental leadership in accordance with department, hospital, and regulatory agency standards).

Shift: Full-Time, 40 hours per week, Variable Shift. 

Required qualifications:

Coursework/Training - Medical Assistant Certified Or Coursework/Training - Medical Assistant EMT Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred qualifications:

Upon hire: Venipuncture certification based on license and state defined scope of practice 1 year experience in an outpatient or hospital imaging setting Venipuncture (IV Access certification)
