Responsibilities

About the Role:

As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services.  Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Performing a variety of radiographic procedures, including but not limited to general radiography, fluoroscopy, and potentially other modalities depending on experience and departmental needs.Preparing patients for examinations, ensuring their comfort and safety.Maintaining accurate patient records and adhering to strict infection control protocols.Utilizing and maintaining imaging equipment, ensuring its proper functioning and cleanliness.Collaborating effectively with physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team.Adhering to all relevant safety regulations and standards of practice.Participating in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

 Graduation from an accredited school of Radiological Technology. One year of recent related work experience which may be obtained through practical education/training that demonstrates attainment of the requisite job knowledge skills/abilities required. Work experience involving the current technical aspects of patient care in a radiology department is preferred.

 License/Certification:

 American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) required. State of Washington Certification as a Radiologic Technologist Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification.
