Radiology Tech II

Position Highlights:

Position: Radiology Tech IILocation: Swedish Hospital – Chicago, IL.Part Time: Per DiemHours: Hours vary upon the need of the department

General Summary:

Reporting to the Director of Radiology/Imaging with accountability to the manager and under the direction of the surgeons and the radiologists performs surgical diagnostic procedure in surgery, as needed, and other diagnostic x-ray procedures; trains and supervises students in the Surgery Department area.

What you will need:

Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required. Certification: Current ARRT registration with certification in Radiography and Illinois Emergency Management Agency, Dept of Nuclear Safety accreditation required, Current CPR certification required.Experience: One year experience as a general radiographer with operating room experience or an NCH student Radiologic Technologist graduate with 3 months experience in surgery/OR required.Unique or Preferred Skills: Knowledge of and/or experience in the correct use of body mechanics.
