**Overview** **Radiologic Technologist II** As our Radiologic Technologist II you will be competent to perform complete diagnostic radiography procedures on patients according to the specific departmental procedure protocols under the direction of Medical Director. Individual Maintains patient safety through attention to detail, equipment safety checks, adherence to department policies, and with effective communication with physicians, staff and patients. Provides patient orientation, procedure explanation, and pre and post diagnostic care to completion of test. Performs complete diagnostic imaging exams inclusive of positioning patient, calibration of equipment, and documentation of findings. Assists patients with basic patient care needs. The network includes more than 30 ambulatory clinics featuring primary care Express Clinics and imaging and diagnostic services. **Responsibilities** **Responsibsilities:** + Responsible for daily operations of Imaging's x-ray section, patient schedule, equipment maintenance, the report of equipment failures, and quality assessment + Assists the radiologists in the performance of complex interventional procedures + Utilizes innovative customer service techniques to provide a positive patient care experience for the patient and their family + Acts professionally in all dealings with internal and external customers to promote a working environment that focuses on the patient experience and not operational rivalries or roadblocks to care **Qualifications** **Required Education & Experience:** + Minimum of 1 year experience in Radiology + Must have completed an accredited Radiology program (Associates Degree) **Required Licensure:** + MRAD - TX + Must have one of these certifications: RTR/RTBD/RTCT/RTCV/RTM/RTMR/RTN/RTQM/RTT/RTVI/RTVS + BLS - Within 14 dyas of hire **Pay Range** $22.89 - $33.20 /hour We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
