Radiation Therapist

Position Highlights:

Position: Radiation TherapistLocation: Multiple locations across Chicagoland Area. Full Time/Part Time: Full TimeHours: Day shift, and on-call requirements 6-8 weekends per yearRequired Travel: Must be willing to float to other NorthShore hospitals as needed

What you will need:

License:  IEMA License and application of ARRT required. Must obtain ARRT 2 years after employment.Education: Completion of radiation therapy program; minimum of a two-year associate degree/certificate requiredCertification: CPR certification requiredExperience: Previous experience strongly preferred. Excellent customer service and communication skills required.

 

 What you will do:

Administer radiation for the purpose of treating diseases, primarily cancerPerform simulations, treatment planning, and special proceduresPerform quality assurance activities, detecting equipment malfunctions and taking appropriate action  Perform weekly chart checks
