Responsibilities Responsibilities include Systems Engineering across the below areas: Work as a Systems Engineer and Technical Assistant (SETA) to the government Provide systems engineering support to the Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) ground support mission thread for key space assets Proactively support mission thread and team lead, utilizing organizational and communication skills to clearly and concisely present information, assist in providing recommendations to the government, and manage technical and programmatic details of the mission through all stages of the systems engineering lifecycle Coordinate with all enterprise stakeholders to ensure government leadership is knowledgeable of the latest mission status and they have all necessary information to make informed decisions Coordinate regularly with acquisition offices to manage and resolve technical and programmatic deficiencies, solution roadblocks, and ensure government stakeholders are satisfied with contractor performance Regularly assess mission documentation for necessary updates and coordinate with necessary stakeholders to facilitate documentation changes Support mission enterprise test campaign, coordinating with test stakeholders for verification activities and monitoring test status throughout the test campaign Assess impacts from mission and enterprise Requests for Changes (RFCs) Qualifications Required: BS 8-10, MS 6-8, PhD 3-5 Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI with Poly Understanding of general GEOINT SAR products and technologies Experience drafting and managing Systems Engineering requirements, including waterfall and agile methodologies Experience assisting the government with systems engineering processes and documentation Strong presentation, oral, and written communications skills, including the ability to produce clear, logical, and concise products Proven organization and interpersonal skills, and demonstrated ability to interface effectively via written and oral forums with personnel at all levels of government Desired: Experience with commercial Atlassian tools (e.g. Confluence, JIRA) or ability to learn quickly Experience with systems engineering and test documentation, such as Interface Control Documents (ICDs), Detailed Test Plans (DTPs), Detailed Checklists for testing (DCLs), and Requests for Change (RFCs) Knowledge of SAFe or Agile frameworks Experience with systems engineering risk management, system architectures, and verification/validation (V&V) Experience with digital engineering/model-based systems engineering (MBSE) or ability to learn quickly EEO Statement EEO Arcfield proactively fulfills its role as an equal opportunity employer.
