Rad Tech Lead

Choose between $15,000 in student loan repayments or a $7,500 hiring bonus and get $5,000 for relocation if you qualify. 

60-80 hours every 2 weeks | Monday-Friday, approximately every 5th weekend | Variable day/evening hours | Rotating holiday schedule.

Staff resource management including staff schedule and daily modification to meet patient demand, monthly meeting management, liaison between techs and leadership, protocol management, performance evaluations, policies and procedures and working technologist.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's Degree as Radiology Technologist - OR-
  Associate Degree in Radiology. 


EXPERIENCE:

2 years or more of work-related skill or experience.


LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:

Member of AART or registry eligible. 


ADDITIONAL DUTIES:

Works with Imaging Clinical Daily Operations Manager to oversee policies and procedures.  Super users of EMR and other clinical systems.   Has indirect involvement with performance evaluations.   Works with Imaging Informatics Technical Manager to oversee SharePoint pages (documents, spreadsheets, shortcuts etc.) and application QA and development. Responsible for the direct care of imaging patients by providing quality care and safe handling.   Operating the necessary equipment and positioning and technique to provide quality images effective for the radiologist to read and deliver an accurate depiction of patient’s disease. Perform routine inspection and maintenance of equipment including but not limited to imaging modality equipment, emergency kits, reaction kits, oxygen tanks and department crash cart.

To qualify for the relocation bonus, the candidate must live at least 50 miles away from hired location and relocate within 30 miles of primary work location.  CentraCare hiring incentives to include but not limited to, sign-on and relocation bonuses may be discontinued at any time.  Bonus amounts may differ based on full time and part time status.
