Purpose of the position
● To develop a new generation of Bromma spreaders and related products according to the Road Map.
● To tackle technical ad-hoc tasks with other departments.
● To develop and maintain technical expertise on advancements and innovations in research and engineering.
Key Accountabilities
Research of New Ideas
● Engage in the idea generation process and bring new ideas, concepts, solutions, and product improvements to life.
● Support the development of product concepts that are innovative, high quality, and cost-effective.
● Analyzing the performance and feasibility of multiple alternative concepts.
Development of the Approved Projects
Learn and apply industry best practices in a dynamic R&D environment by
● Performing early draft design in 3D modelling.
● Support building proof of concepts, simulations, and delivering prototypes.
● Support the development process by collecting feedback/data for design improvement and enhancement from stakeholders.
● Develop and execute design verification and validation test plans.
Documentation
● Document research and development progresses and activities.
● Prepare fabrication drawings for new developed products.
● Prepare design calculations and other relevant technical documentation.
Project Management
● Managing and planning project tasks or assignments.
● Coordination and support delivering project success to the customer and organization.
Position Requirements (Education/ Experience/ Skills/ Competencies/ Language)
Education/ Experience:
● Bachelor or Master degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
● 2 years of engineering/ mechanical design experience preferred
Technical Skills:
● 3D CAD modeling preferably in Inventor
● Knowledge of PDM systems
● Knowledge of GD/T and industrial standards
● Familiar with steel design, welding and DFMA
● Familiar with hydraulics and transmission design
Competencies:
● Good Team player
● Hands on and eager to learn
● Proactive and self-motivated
● Problem solving/ creative mindset
● Fluent in spoken and written English
