Your role and responsibilities

Join our dynamic global R&D leadership team within the IEC LV Motors Division! As a pivotal member, you'll play a crucial role in driving innovation and product development. Your leadership will be instrumental in translating our vision into actionable plans, ensuring we deliver high-quality, scalable, and cost-effective solutions. You'll also be responsible for managing R&D costs and enhancing the performance of our management team. Embrace our core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for your actions and caring for your colleagues and the business.The role is contributing to the Motion / IEC LV Motors Division globally. You will be mainly accountable for:•\tLeading and Developing People: Overseeing R&D headcount and competence development.•\tTranslating and Communicating Vision: Converting the Division's vision into actionable plans.•\tExecuting R&D Projects: Managing project portfolios to meet scope, schedule, financial, and quality commitments.•\tControlling R&D Costs: Managing and reporting R&D costs within the budget.

Qualifications for the role

\tMinimum 15 years of experience with preference of prior knowledge in electrical motor related businesses. \tMSc or equivalent degree in Engineering or similar discipline, preferably in Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering. \tAt least 10 years in a leadership role, with focus on organizational leadership, R&D and engineering processes. \tExperience with working in a global environment.\tProficient in technology development, innovation processes, product and manufacturing processes, and team building.\tKnowledge or experience in Lean Six Sigma.\tSelf-driven, results oriented and hands-on work-style.\tInnovative thinker with outside-the-box thinking.\tProven change management experience.\tEffective communicator with strong organizational skills.\tFluent English language skills.
