Main Accountabilities & ResponsibilitiesPlastic product design / improvement on cable protection system products \tConduct design during the development process\tVerification of the design by prototypes or simulationsR&D Project Management\tUse Gate Model as a tool to manage project cost, lead time and quality.\tCoordinating with cross function teams to achieve key deliverables.Injection Mold Technology Development \tGood view on the technology trend that impacts new product development and maintain ABB product and technology in a leading position.\tGood Technology development to maintain ABB product and technology in a leading position.Challenges – list specifics \tGood communication with each group and individual local / overseas;\tDelivers projects on-time and on-budget\tThe manufacture unit does not locate in ChinaKnowledge, Skills and ExperienceEssential\tAbility to communicate in English, both written and oral\tSufficient Pro-E and Windchill Skill\tExperience and ability in creating design specifications for moulded products\tGood knowledge in production and manufacturing processesDesirable\t5 years’ experience in plastic product design. The development experience of cable protection system products is preferred.\tAvailable to short-long term assignment overseas\tKnowledge of international standards
