Title: Chemist I Reports to: Sr. Chemist Department: Research and Development Responsibilities + Maintain a lab note book + Make batches + Create ingredient qualitative and quantitative list + Check next day specification from previous day batch + Follow up with on-going stabilities + Communicate with raw material vendors + Attend in-house vendor presentations + Enter formulation into the company formulator + Review results with supervisor + Analyze lab batch measuring physical parameters: Viscosity, pH, and Density Requirements Qualifications/Skills + Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry (or Biology that has had chemistry and organic chemistry classes) + Well organized and highly detail oriented + Must work well with others and communicate effectively Benefits + Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance + Life Insurance + 401k match
