Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the financial and contractual aspects of construction projects. The Quantity Surveyor will work closely with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed within budget and on schedule.
Responsibilities: Preparation of cost estimates and budgets for construction projects Conducting feasibility studies and cost analysis for projects Tendering and procurement processes Contract negotiation and administration Valuing completed work and preparing progress reports Cost control and value engineering Risk assessment and management Quantity take-offs and measurement of materials Ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying Professional membership (e.g. RICS) is preferred Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials Proficient in use of quantity surveying software Excellent communication and negotiation skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Attention to detail and strong analytical skills Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Willingness to travel to project sites as neededIf you meet the above requirements and want to make a career-changing move, apply today by either filling in the online application form or by emailing your CV to Engineers@hireresolve.za.com
