Hire Resolve is currently partnering with a leading construction company seeking a Quantity Surveyor for their offices in Durbanville, WC.

It’s a hybrid role, primarily based at our Durbanville Head Office, yet also involves on-site duties on designated projects.

As a Construction Quantity Surveyor, your responsibilities will revolve around cost control, management, planning, and reporting.

Responsibilities: Controlling costs to keep projects within budget. Managing project finances and planning. Creating detailed cost reports. Estimating and budgeting for future projects. Collaborating with project teams. Visiting sites to monitor progress and costs. Negotiating with suppliers and contractors. Staying updated on industry trends and regulations. Improving cost control processes. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field. Valid driver’s license. 5+ years of management experience in construction. Expertise in cost estimation and budgeting. Proficiency in relevant software tools. Membership in a professional organization, such as SACQSP, is beneficial. Proficiency in Cost Control, Management, and Reporting. Experience in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and Estimating. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Capacity to work independently and collaboratively. Outstanding organizational and time management skills, especially under pressure. Effective negotiation and communication skills with peers and consulting teams. Ability to mentor junior staff members. Benefits Salary negotiable
